Is there a way to quickly identify items in a list where a 2013 workflow has failed/suspended/stuck? 2010 workflows were extremely simple to identify because the column would update with the internal status. 2013 wf’s don’t, and that is a huge let down.
Is there perhaps error handling options I’ve overlooked that can email me when an error is found? Or could I create a site workflow to comb through items to find stuck item workflows? Really just looking for any options available to identify and fix workflows that are stuck or failed.
Also, I’ve gotten my hands dirty with the PnP cmdlets in PowerShell, and have found a script that can stop and restart workflows, but it runs super slow. I’m not an expert in PowerShell, but is that common for a script to take 2 hours to run on a list of 1000 items to stop and restart a workflow? If so, then so be it. I just wanted to confirm.
Worth noting, I work for a large company, and do front end site administration, I do not have access to the server or central administration.
